Description
The Aquila Black Broiler is a cousin to the Sagitta. This bird is mostly black with a small amount of Red tint in the feathers. This breed was founded and developed by Henry Saglio. The males will be around 5 lbs in 12-13 weeks making the Cockerels perfect for the frying pan at an early age. At 16 weeks the hens will be around 5 – 5.5 lbs live weight. The Aquila Black Broiler is a hardy breed, well suited for pastured poultry producers. Give this black broiler a try!
