Barred Old English Game Bantam chicks are primarily black with a white spot on top of the head and additional white on the wing tips, front of the neck and abdomen. They have single combs and clean, black and white legs and feet. All the adult plumage is barred black and white with the females being darker than the males. Female old English lay a fair amount of small cream colored eggs. Old English Bantams are very active, handle cold weather well and are adaptable to either confinement or free range.
