Description
Black Tail Buff Japanese Bantams are a high-quality chicken that has buff colored body feathers and wings that touch the ground. This variety of Japanese bantams carry their black tail upward and higher than the head. The wings angle down and back along the sides of the body. The breed is recognizable for their short body and legs that contrasts their large, upright tail. Black Tailed Buff Japanese bantam chicks are primarily buff or straw colored with some having brown streak on top of the head and brown streaks running down the back. They have single combs and clean, black and yellow feet and legs. The main feathering coloring of the adult bird is mostly buff with some black. The wing primaries are black, fringed with buff. The wing secondary upper webs are black, heavily fringed with buff. Our bantams are purebred and represent the breed and variety; however, we do not guarantee or represent that they are of show quality.
