Blue Laced Red Wyandotte chickens are docile and good producers of medium size brown eggs. This breed is of American origin. They are a very unique variety of Wyandotte due to their unusual coloring.. As their name suggests, they are deep red birds with blue lacing on the feathers. Abundant, fluffy feathering and close-fitting rose combs make them great birds for cold weather. They are hardy, active chickens that do well in confinement or free range and are a great back yard chicken. They are hardy, active, medium weight, dual-purpose chickens. Babies are creamy white with blue and orange backs and heads.
