Red Cochin Bantam chickens are an Asiatic, feather-footed breed covered with an extraordinary abundance of soft, fluffy, red colored feathers. The Red Cochin is entirely red, with the males having more gloss than the females on the head, neck, back, saddle and wing bows They have a bright red, single comb, along with red wattles, earlobes, and a red patch around the eyes. Red Cochin Bantam hens lay small, cream/brown eggs, and are good setters. Many people love the Red Cochin Bantam because they are very cold hearty. Our bantams are purebred and represent the breed and variety; however, we do not guarantee or represent that they are of show quality.
