Description
The Silver Spangled Hamburg chickens originated in Holland. The Hamburg is quite flighty, therefore needs enough space to roam and do not do well in confinement. They lay small white eggs consistently for many years. Hamburg Chickens are an active breed and rarely go broody but if they do, they often refuse to sit long enough to hatch their brood. Silver Spangled Hamburg chickens have a strong and upright appearance and are very cold hearty. Hamburgs have red rose combs, wattles, and white earlobes. They have gray legs and have pink soles on the bottom of their feet.
