Splash Laced Red Wyandotte chickens hardy, active, medium weight, dual-purpose birds. Wyandotte hens are good producers of medium size brown eggs. They are a very unique variety of Wyandotte due to their unusual coloring. Splash Laced Red Wyandottes are mahogany-red birds with very light shades of blue lacing on the feathers. Abundant, fluffy feathering and a close-fitting rose combs make them great birds for cold weather. They have yellow feet and legs. They are docile but active chickens that do well in confinement or free ranging. Babies are creamy white with smoky blue backs, tan heads and yellow legs.
