For safe handling and delivery of your birds, The Chick Hatchery has minimum order requirements.
These minimums help the birds stay warm and prevent them from shifting around during shipping.
Due to our new paperless inventory system, once an order is placed you will not be able to make any partial cancels or add on to an order. Because of system limitations there will be NO EXCEPTIONS made to this rule. Please be sure of what you want to order before ordering it.
We ship as few as 3 total Poultry
Each type of Fowl has Minimum Order Requirements!
Chickens, Bantams, Guinea Keets, Turkeys & Waterfowl can be mixed & matched.
SHIPPING COSTS
Orders of 3 -14 Birds will incur a $25.00 Small Order Fee plus shipping costs.
How to calculate shipping costs for orders of less than 15 chicks:
Orders of 3 -14 Birds have a $20.00 shipping cost. All orders with less than 15 total birds will incur a $25.00 small order fee.
How to calculate shipping costs for orders of 15 or more chicks:
Step 1: $25.00 flat shipping cost Step 2: 15 or more birds x $0.30 per bird charge. Example: $25.00 + 15 birds x $0.30 ($4.50) = $29.50 shipping cost.
